COMENIUS PROJECT: VISIT TO GERMANY – MARCH 2014

1Two weeks ago, a few students from 1L1 and 1L2 went to Hamburg, Germany with The Comenius Project. The objective of the project is to get students to think about immigration. This European project was organized between three schools: Lycée Félix Faure in Beauvais, France, Stadtteilschule in Hamburg, Germany and Atheneum Vijverhof in Bruges, Belgium. In February, Belgian and German students went to France and in October students will have another meeting, in Belgium. 2

Throughout the week, students stayed with host families and had many workshops to speak about immigration. There were many other activities, such as a dinner on boat, a basket-ball match, a film dealing with the issues of the Comenius project and a treasure hunt in Hamburg organized by German students. Some students visited Hamburg with their host family too.

The last two days, we all went to Berlin. We had a meeting with an association called “Typisch Deutsch” followed by a visit of  Berlin. We returned to France on March 28th in the evening after one week of fun and discovery.

All students want to say THANK YOU SO MUCH to their teachers for having organized this project and this trip.
