For the Comenius Project “Immigrants, Roots and Roads”, 60 pupils from 1èL visited the Museum of Immigration (Cité Nationale de l’Histoire de l’Immigration) in Paris on Tuesday 10th December 2013.This museum deals with the history of immigration in France and the stories of hundreds of immigrants.Pupils enjoyed two guided tours and had group work to know more about the history of immigration and the architecture of the building: le Palais de la Porte Dorée. This palace was inaugurated in 1931 for “l’exposition coloniale”, the colonial exhibition.
Another visit is planned in February 2014 with our Belgian and German partners.
